Pollinating People with Health
The Pollination Project is an organic and regenerative farm,
educational program and organization working to establish
holistic agriculture as a health care initiative in northern
New Mexico. We are located in Rio en Medio, about
a half hour north of Santa Fe, NM.
The Pollination Project provides internship opportunities for
young people in organic agriculture, ecological literacy, and
personal and community well being. We grow heirloom
and specialty varieties of vegetables and herbs with
the best practices in ecological agriculture. Our growing methods
improve the structure and fertility of the soil, protect and
provide habitat for pollinators, and provide the cleanest
and healthiest organically grown produce.
We have a wonderful ONLINE FARM STAND with weekly
pick-ups in Santa Fe and Rio en Medio. Please enter your email
in our pop-up box or on our farm stand webpage to receive
our weekly newsletter which will tell you when the store
is open for orders for the week and what is available.
We also collaborate in partnership with Santacafé and
Coyote Café of Santa Fe, providing our local, organic
and alive produce as a collective effort to provide greater well being
to the community at large. The collaboration also allows us to
gain greater exposure for our bigger community based projects.
We can improve the land while improving our health
and improve our health while improving the
land. When you buy from local organic farmers, you are actively
helping to create, establish and expand this positive reciprocity.
Please join us in helping others to establish and revive
local organic agriculture to provide healthy food
for all, and alive fertile lands for our grandchildren's grandchildren.
We thank you for visiting our site, please visit our farm stand,
and please share us with others!
